Lesley Ryf’s journey into fashion was not a conventional one. Born in Switzerland and shaped by her Latin American heritage, Lesley grew up with a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives. Traveling extensively at a young age, she found endless inspiration in the people, places, and stories she encountered along the way.

In her early twenties, she discovered her passion for fitness and health—a lifestyle that became a cornerstone of her daily routine. But like many modern women, she often found herself juggling a busy schedule of errands, workouts, meetings, and social outings. Frustrated by the lack of versatile activewear that could seamlessly transition through her day, she decided to create her own solution.

With this vision, she founded AMADA.- meaning "dear, beloved" in Spanish. A fashion brand designed to empower women with stylish, functional, and sustainable activewear. Every piece reflects her belief that you shouldn’t have to compromise between performance, comfort, and elegance—because women deserve to feel confident and capable no matter where the day takes them.

Lesley’s unique perspective, blending swiss engineering precision with creative flair, has been instrumental in shaping the identity of AMADA, ensuring that each piece is not only beautiful but also highly functional.

She believes that fashion should be a force for good, empowering individuals while also making a positive impact on the world.
